OLIVE OIL FOR THE BONES
As researchers from the University of Madrid have found out, natural olive oil of cold extraction makes positive impact on the bone mass of humans.
Support of bone structure of our organisms is one of the most promising and fascinating areas of research of olive oil. So far the most part of an initial research has been carried out on laboratory animals. The best levels in calcium blood repeatedly contacted consumption of olive oil. Besides, at least two polyphenols in olive oil – tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol, have increased formation of bone weight at rats. The group of researchers has also assumed that olive oil can be eventually especially useful to the women who have reached a menopause. They have noted improvement of markers of blood and absolute health of bones at females of rats who ate olive oil after removal of ovaries. Total results of above-mentioned researches can mean that the advantage for health of bones can be considered eventually as important aspect of consumption of olive oil.
